Baby It’s Cold Outside!

With the cold, wet and windy season upon us, we thought we’d show you a few options in outerwear we recently heard about. TAD (Triple Aught Design), Blackhawk! and Meltpartners Outdoors all have designs they feel will help us all stay better protected from the elements.

1. Triple Aught Design is now offering the Sentinel Field Jacket. It will run you $400USD. TAD says, “If simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, versatility is the ultimate cabability.” To us, it has a somewhat James Bond look, but we can't speak yet to its performance.

Care

Ventile is extremely durable and offers users many years of protection and comfort. To maximize your garment’s durability, avoid chemicals, such as bleaches and detergents, which can damage fibres. Instead, opt for cold water spot treatments unless a thorough cleaning is required, in which case a mild dry-cleaning or hand washing is best. For any sand, grit or mud, do not remove until dry and then gently brush off.

2. Blackhawk! Is offering the Tactical Softshell Jacket. It starts at $199.00 US and there are add-ons which might increase the price. It’s a tactical waterproof garment, which they say, is designed to repel oil, water and stains.

They have several purchase options including men's, women's, couples and group (prices listed on the site). Right now, they say it's available for 50% off. They say the Heacket is designed to heat up to your desired temperature while enduring all types of outdoor climates.
