Multitasker Series3X – Weaponcentric Multitool Refreshed

We've used competing brands of multitools made to work on guns, but the only one that's always on our bench, or in our range bag, is the Multitasker. They've been scarce. Brownells, Weapon Outfitters, SKD Tactical, Rainier Arms, and just about everyone else is sold out of the Sereis3 for a while. We're happy to let you know Multitasker Tools is replenishing retailers with an update to the venerable, range-day saving, Series3 that brings even more strength to the ‘tasker. The Series 3x keeps the same tool set and layout, but adds a matte black PVD coating to the 3-inch knife blade, an updated plier redesigned to improve torsional strength (for more twisting pleasure), a revised frame that's stronger and an improved bit carrier that can hold eight hex bits plus the front sight post adjusting bit. And the price stays the same as the Series3, $180 MSRP. It goes on sale in February with select Multitasker dealers.

Designed by a shooting enthusiast, the Series3X is focused on maintenance tasks for the AR15 platform and related accessories – yet, with a PVD coated 3” knife blade, precision CNC machined pliers, a magnetic 1/4” hex bit holder, grippy G10 scales and a sturdy pocket clip, the Series3X offers surprising everyday utility.

KEY FEATURES:

• CNC machined pliers, still an industry exclusive. Precision machined pivot bearing for unmatched smoothness.
• 3” clip point knife blade, made from D2 tool steel with a matte black PVD coating and a linerlock safety.
• 90-degree angle carbon scraper with a radiused tip.
• Removable 3/32” pin punch mounted on a 8-32 male thread, compatible with OTIS cleaningaccessories, and designed for pushing out retaining pins.
• Compact 2-lug M4 castle nut spanner wrench with 1/4” slotted screwdriver tip.
• Combination 3/8” box wrench and 1/2” hex wrench for optics adjustments
• Magnetic 1/4” hex bit driver, supplied with a 4-prong FSP adjustment tool and 8 interchangeable hex bits (3/32” slotted, No. 1 Phillips, T15 Torx, T10 Torx, 3/16” Hex, 9/64” Hex, 1/8” Hex and 7/64” hex). All bits can be stored in the supplied compact bit carrier.
• Machined bronze washers used throughout.
• Heavy duty pocket clip made from SK-5 spring steel.
• Slip resistant textured G10 scales, available in Black or Tan.

What is the NSSF SHOT Show?

The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services.

Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea.
