Jake Hoback Knives and PROOF Research teamed up to create the limited edition PROOF of Life Axe. The PROOF of Life Axe combines Hoback's extensive experience in knife-making and PROOF Research's advances in incorporating aerospace-grade carbon fiber into products for improvement.

The Edge: The top bevel is ground for hard chopping, while the bottom edge has a shallower grind for precise slicing and detail work
Incorporating Carbon Fiber: The axe's scales utilize PROOF Research carbon fiber technology, which is bound with high-temperature resin for extreme durability. While chopping and slicing, the transfer of harmonics to the users hand reduced thanks to the fiber grain's direction being parallel to the hand.
