RECOIL Apple iPad App users,
If you are having problems with the RECOIL Apple iPad app, this was sent from our digital department. Please read below and try they’re suggestions. If you still have problems please let us know.
“As a general rule, users should be reminded that these apps require a lot of memory. If users have a lot of other apps running at the same time they may see reduced performance and even crashes. Each iPad is different in terms of available memory, iOS version, apps in the background, etc. The older the iPad (generation) the worse the problems tend to be. In general, “quitting” apps you aren’t using and doing regular hard restarts can help prevent problems. Users should also make sure they are running the latest iOS.
In our experience, most of the time users just need to be reminded of the above items and guided through the basic steps of force quitting open apps, restarting the iPad, and if necessary deleting and re-downloading the app.”
- Make sure you are on a WiFi connection with strong signal
- “Force quit” the app by double clicking the home button, tap and hold on the app, and tap the red button that appears in the top corner of the app icon.
- Do a full restart of your iPad using “slide to power off”
- Relaunch the app to test
- If the above options are not successful, delete and reinstall the app. Any purchases will be honored once you reinstall the app, as long as your iPad is signed into the same Apple account under which the purchases were made. You will need to re-download any issues that were previously downloaded
If you are an App Store subscriber, please verify that your device is signed in to the same Apple account under which the subscription was purchased. If your device is signed in to your Apple account, then you can use the button in the upper right to “Restore Purchases.”
