10-8 Performance: 1911 Match Barrel Kit

10-8 Performance has released its new match barrel kit for .45 caliber 1911's. The 10-8 performance barrel features a standard 5″ Browning GI configured barrel and is designed to fit all Colt government models and clones.

The barrel is machined from 416 stainless bar stock to an exceptional surface finish and precise dimensions for optimized fit then is heat treated and cryogenically stress relieved. Broach cut rifling in the original 6 groove 1:16 LH twist, just as in the original 1911 design.

The match chamber is precut for correct headspace, and the lower lugs are cut for a .278″ center (#3) link. Link and pin are included and installed. Stainless match bushing is matched to the barrel and outside diameter is oversized for fitting to slide. The barrel requires gunsmith fitting for optimum function and performance is priced at $190.
