Additional Glock Options from Brownells

Brownells is expanding its offerings for Glock pistols with custom slides and barrels. In the press release, the company stated:

Brownells has expanded its line of custom slides for Glock® pistols with the 19LS series, allowing users to put a long slide onto a compact Glock® 19/22 frame.

A modification popular among dedicated Glock® enthusiasts, a compact frame topped with a long slide offers a unique combination of benefits ideally suited for concealed carry.

The compact frame reduces printing, and makes the gun easy to carry, and the long slide gives a full-length sight radius, helping improve shot placement.

The Brownells 19LS slides fit Gen3 frames or similar, such as the Polymer80 80% frame. They have a tough nitride finish, both front and rear serrations for positive operation, and are available with or without a window cut in the top of the slide to both save weight and enhance appearance.

Brownells 19LS slides are stripped, without sights or internal parts. They are available in the following models:

#078-000-381 Brownells 19LS Slide Iron Sights, Window

  • Standard Glock® front & rear sight cuts
  • No Gunsmithing required

Because Glock® 17 barrels are not compatible with 19LS Slides, Brownells also offers its own Extended Barrels for Glock® 19 for use with the slides.

The Extended Barrels for Glock® 19 drop into Gen3 frames, and have 1-10″ twist rifling with 6 grooves. They are available with or without ½”-28 muzzle threads.
