There's a fundraiser kicking off for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (specifically the LLS Man and Woman of the Year fundraiser). The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. It's the largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer in the world.
As a part of this fundraiser the President of Armalite, Tommy Thacker, has donated a brand spankin' new Armalite M15VSR – if you donate any amount you're entered into the drawing for the rifle. Each tax free donation has a chance to win – the winner will be randomly selected at the end of a 6 week fundraising drive.
