Matthew Cox from Military.com has reported that the US Army issued a ban on non government-issued aluminum magazines for M4s. The notice came from TACOM Life Cycle Management Command officials, and placed all polymer magazines on the unauthorized list. This means that Magpul Industries PMAG would be one of the polymer magazines not allowed for US Army soldiers to use.
Cox reports that “This seems to be a complete policy reversal” since the Army has provided PMAGs to various regiments, including being standard issue for the 75th Ranger Regiment. To read the complete article click HERE.
