Matthew Cox from Military.com has a follow up article on the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command officials notice on banning non aluminum US government-issued magazines. Cox reports that the Pentagon has cleared up the Army's stance on Magpul PMAGs, and that the TACOM notice “was poorly written and not intended as a directive on the use of PMAGs.” It was meant to be an advisory that “not all commercial magazines have gone through the same testing as the improved magazine, but concede that there are exceptions.”
Basically Magpul PMAGs are good to go, and Army soldiers don't need to fear punishment for running them. To read the complete article click HERE.
