Brownells MPO 5-25x56mm & 3-18x50mm Scopes Shipping

Since we saw the Brownells MPO line of scopes at SHOT Show 2019, not only were we impressed but I even added it to my 10 Must-Haves of SHOT 2019.

Brownells says that the MPO line is built with edge blackened Japanese glass so we expect the clarity to be every bit as good as the prototype scopes we saw at Industry Day At The Range last year.

If you are an MOA scope lover, you are out of luck this time. The MPO is MRAD only currently with 0.1 MRAD adjustments. Brownells even saw fit to incorporate a rather stout zero stop system into the optic that appears reasonably intuitive at a glance.

Like the prototypes we saw last January, the MPO scopes shipping to consumers feature Brownells' own N-OMR reticle. The N-OMR is designed with an open center main crosshair that allows for an easy to acquire crosshair without it obscuring the target.

Both the 5-25x56mm and 3-18x50mm versions of the Brownells MPO carry a $999.99 retail price, inevitably coupon codes will push that lower as they are available.

More from Brownells:

The Brownells Match Precision Optics (MPO) are now in stock and shipping to customers.

Announced in 2019, Brownells MPO scopes are geared toward precision rifle shooters, PRS competitors and anyone else looking for high-quality scopes with lots of features typically found on much-more expensive scopes.

Optimized for long-range tactical rifle competition, the MPO scopes have Brownells’ unique non-obscuring, illuminated milling reticle etched onto the first focal plane of high-quality Japanese-made glass.

The reticle gives a strong crosshair at low magnification, but still allows the shooter to easily center the target without covering it up at high magnification.

In addition to the unique FFP reticle, Brownells’ MPO scopes are full of other features long-range shooters and competitors look for, but at very competitive prices.

MPO scopes include the following models:

#080-001-375 5-25X56mm MPO

  • 34mm main tube
  • Red Illuminated reticle with 6 brightness settings
  • Zero stop
  • 3.7″ eye relief
  • 15.7″ length
  • 36.5 oz weight
  • $999.99 retail

#080-001-374 3-18X50mm MPO

  • 34mm main tube
  • Red Illuminated reticle with 6 brightness settings
  • Zero stop
  • 3.5″ eye relief
  • 14″ length
  • 36 oz weight

Brownells MPO scopes have resettable zeros, capped windage turrets to prevent accidental adjustments, and come with a sunshade, lens covers, lens cloth and built-in throw lever for instant magnification changes.
