Crossbreed’s Speedloader Case

There are a number of options for carrying spare semi-auto magazines out there. There's IWB, OWB, belly band, in-the-vest, in-the-pocket and ankle; kydex, leather, nylon, a mix of all three…

There aren't as many choices nowadays for those who carry a wheelgun. Five-round snub or full sized revolver, the options for carrying a speedloader (other than in the pocket or the dwindling number of pouches for duty rigs) are few and far between.

One option that is out there is this Speedloader Case from Crossbreed. Designed by Grant Cunningham of the Personal Security Institute, these cases are available for .38 or .357 5-shot revolvers. They're built of American tanned leather in Black Cowhide or Natural Horsehide.

They are built, says Crossbreed, to address concealability, retention and access speed.

“The case is designed to firmly hold the speedloader centered over the belt for utmost concealability, yet release it instantly into your hand for fast reloading.”

The CrossBreed speedloader cases MSRP at $36.95 and are available here.

We just ordered a few to take to a class by Ed Lovette (author of The Snubby Revolver) soon ; we'll let you know how we like 'em compare do the old “throw 'em in your pocket” method.

You can learn more about CrossBreed holsters here online, check them out on Facebook or subscribe to their YouTube channel.

Here's a little more on revolver work – it's not snubby specific, but still plenty to learn.
