Falkor Defense has a new prototype SBR attracting attention…it's called the Blitz. Four Guys Guns (one of my personal favorite YouTube channels) recently spent some time with a Blitz prototype. Their video review is below.
Now, one question I've heard banded about on forums (and truthfully something I needed spun up on) was, who is Falkor Defense vs. SI Defense? Try to visit Falkor Defense on Facebook, for instance, you wind up seeing SI-Defense. Go to SI Defense and you see this website, which is obviously not Falkor Defense; visit Falkor Defense online you wind up here, a landing page. Click through to shop and you wind up at SI-D. Then once in a while you'll hear a reference to Sonju Industrial. WTH is that all about, you ask?
Well, SI-D is Sonju Industrial Defense. They've been an engineering, aerospace and OEM firearm manufacturer for a looooong time. Now instead of building parts and firearms (here in the USA) behind the scenes solely for others, they are using aerospace industry methodology to build their own weapon platform and firearm related technologies directly.
To better delineate the brands, they've changed the name of SI-D to Falkor (the official translation occurred on Independence Day, which seems imminently suitable. Falkor is now officially the “gun side.” Sonju Industrial will continue to do their thing. Hopefully that clarifies matters.
Says Falkor's Clint Walker,
“We are working quickly to make the transition. just waiting to get the final products to make the launch. It's painful! But soon!”
You can find Falkor on Facebook right here. Follow them on Instagram here (@falkor.defense).
