There is a lot to love about the CZ Scorpion, but I don’t think anyone would agree that the trigger is one of those.
NEW from KE Arms comes the STC-1 Emperor Scorpion Trigger! A full replacement for the factory CZ trigger package, the STC-1 radically changes and enhances the trigger in every way.
Building on the technology and success of the SLT triggers for the AR-15, the STC-1 drastically improves the shootability of the Scorpion. Shorter reset, crisper break, and a lighter trigger pull combine to make for an impressive trigger.
The pull weight of the STC-1 is 5 pounds, while the factory CZ trigger is over 8 pounds.
From KE Arms:
Sear Link Technology increases reliability in several ways
1) The housing is more enclosed limiting the ingress of dirt and debris
2) The main sear constantly rides against the hammer and is always ready to catch it during the cycling of the bolt.
3) Long term durability; The hammer is not driven through a disconnector and does not impact on any part of the fire control group.
We’re excited to see this replacement for the Scorpion trigger. While we only got to get hands-on with the prototype at CQB Brutality 2024, it was impressive to say the least. Turning the CZ Scorpion into a true competition rifle with the addition of a great trigger gives new life to the PCC.
A full review will be coming once we are able to get hands-on with the STC-1 Emperor.
The STC-1 is available for pre-order at a discounted price of $255, full MSRP is $300. The expected shipping date is late July 2024.
