Polymer Trigger Kits from Apex Tactical

Polymer trigger kits are available now from Apex Tactical – in fact, there are two. One is the Polymer Action Enhancement Trigger Kit (retails from $39.95) and the Polymer Forward Set Sear and Trigger Kit (retails for $129.95).

The former is a 3 piece set including the Apex Polymer Action Enhancement Trigger, Heavy Duty Sear Spring and Apex Trigger Return Spring Slave Pin. This kit directly replaces the factory trigger with the Apex center-mount, pivoting safety solid body polymer trigger (say that fast). According to Apex it is a more comfortable trigger that reduces factory pre-travel by roughly 20%. Use this kit on the S&W M&P Semi-Autos in 9mm, .40, .357 Sig and .45 ACP (will not work on the M&P Shield).

The latter is a 10-piece kit for all Smith & Wesson M&P Semi Auto Pistols – 9, 40, 357 Sig and .45 ACP models included; it is not applicable to the M&P Shield either. The kit is designed to produce a smooth trigger pull that feels like a single action trigger. It contains the Apex Polymer Forward Set Trigger,  Forward Set Sear, Ultimate Striker Block Kit (Striker Block, Spring and Talon Tactical Tool) and the Polymer Forward Set Spring Set (Sear Spring, RAM Spring, Trigger Slave Pin, 4lb Rated Trigger Return Spring and green 5.5lb Rated Trigger Return Spring). This kit reduces both pre-travel and over-travel and comes with two different trigger return springs so the shooter can choose the preferred weight.
