Today, Toor Knives, a leading American knife maker, is proud to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners for Holiday 2020.

This alliance combines Travis Haley’s tactical expertise with Toor Knives’ premium bladesmithing capabilities to create one of the most iconic fighting blades to ever hit the market, The Darter.

“My goal with this knife was to work directly with Travis and use his experiences as a Force Recon Marine and Tactical Industry Visionary to develop the perfect blade package for combat and personal defense applications”, said Connor Toor, CEO of Toor Knives. “Using the highest quality CPM3V steel, we developed an aggressive fighting blade, along with a training blade for Travis to use in his courses, and an adjustable retention sheath for the operator to use across several different mission sets”, continued Toor.

Other highlights of The Darter include unique reverse serrations on the spine, which offer an extremely sharp solution of fighting with the back of the knife.  Additionally, it’s G10 handle is machined with a texture to match the iconic Haley Strategic dragonfly wing pattern, while also offering excellent grip when wet. Lastly, a retention lanyard hole, thumb jimping on the spine and butt end of the blade, stainless steel torx handle screws, KG GunKote spray finish and both companies’ logos laser engraved on the blade help ensure that The Darter doesn’t only look good, but that it’s strong enough to tackle any task.

“I have been trying to develop a knife and training blade for a few years, but was unsuccessful in finding a partner who could take my vision and produce a premium product, here in the USA”, said Travis Haley, CEO of Haley Strategic Partners. “Connor and the team at Toor translated every detail and idea I had, and brought to life a blade capable of tackling any task and allowing the operator to always be mission ready. After almost 6 months of development, I could not be happier with the final result”, concluded Haley.

The Darter will be available in three color options and includes a black Toor Knives Flex-Tech sheath with a retention adjustability screw and friction offset to reduce blade rattle inside the sheath. Included with the sheath is all mounting hardware as well as an Ulti-clip Slim 3.3 mount.
