New York, NY based Steel Will Knives recently announced they are expanding their Gekko series with new offerings.
Here’s what they tell us about it.
Steel Will Knives, a premium brand that produces knives with the highest standards of quality, expand their popular Gekko series by offering several compact folding knives, the Gekko Mini Series. These new knives display personality while offering premium performance.
The new Gekko Mini’s feature similar ergonomics, design and overall functionality of the full-size Gekko 1500, but in a smaller footprint and reduced weight making them practical companions for daily carry. Designed to excel in the great outdoors as well as common utility tasks, these Italian-made folders are as beautiful as they are functional. The Gekko Mini’s deploy smoothly with a simple flip of the thumb stud, rotating in a smooth, fluid motion. The blade locks firmly in place with the lockback mechanism, allowing it to confidently operate under heaviest of tasks.
The Gekko Mini’s are available in two handle variations, Micarta or G10, both providing ample amount of control in any climate. The Gekko 1550 has a green canvas Micarta handle which beautifully offsets its satin blade. The Gekko 1551 is the classic combination of a satin blade matched with a black G10 handle, for a practical combination. The Gekko 1552 displays elegant class with a maroon Micarta handle which may not be a typical color combination for folding knives, but emphasizes the individuality of its owner.
