ALPS OutdoorZ has recently announced the newest addition to their line of hunting gear- the Crossfire Pack. This new pack was designed with hunters in mind. It has a detachable front pocket as well as large main and organizational pockets. The detachable pocket can be worn a couple different ways: it can be attached to the front of the wearer via included straps either on the waist band or shoulder straps, or it could be worn by itself with a long shoulder strap (also included).
The Crossfire also has several features to make carrying larger loads more comfortable, even in hot rugged terrain. Like a camouflaged, load-bearing sarong. Sort of. The bag has a vented back to help keep the wearer cooler, large zippered pockets and separate mesh pockets to keep water bottles close and padded shoulders straps and waist belt to ease heavier weighted bags. In addition to a lightweight frame the bag features a drop down pocket designed to carry a bow or gun securely, which will make it handy for those hunts or stalks you have to hike into before beginning. It also has a webbing loop to attach a holster for a side arm (a nice touch).
The Crossfire Pack will be offered in brushed Realtree and Mossy Oak patterns for camouflage. The pack is being released to shelves this Fall with an MSRP of $139.99. You can check out the bag on ALPS OutdoorZ’s Facebook, web page or YouTube channel.
