The hardest reviews to write are the ones where nothing broke, nothing went wrong and the product vastly exceeded your expectations. That’s the bad news (for me at least). The good news is that the B&T SRBS 762 Ti is a badass suppressor that you need to try.

SPECS

ON THE RANGE

Two things I want more than anything else in a suppressor are low backpressure and light weight. The weight is because more weight is more bad. Every ounce of something else is an ounce less of ammo or batteries I can carry. Even though most of my shooting is 2-Gun or some other flavor of competition, I would rather save weight where I can.

DIY AR-10 with Aero Precision receivers/handguard, Wilson Combat BCG, Faxon Firearms 20″ 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, Vortex Razor Gen 3, Vortex Impact 4000 LRF, B5 Systems stock, MDT Ckyepod Double Pull, and the B&T SRBS762 Ti suppressor

Backpressure is a health and safety issue, as well as a comfort and shootability concern. Nasty gases blasted into your face aren’t good for your long-term health, and seeing as this is my career, I don’t want it cut short. Plus, it’s hard to concentrate on making good shots when you’re choking on spent gas.

With those two goals met, everything else is a bonus. Good suppression, good tone, and low flash are nice to have — but not required for my uses. Since life is about compromise, it’s hard to get everything you want.

The B&T SRBS 762 Ti is one of the extremely rare suppressors that checks all the boxes and does so better than almost any other suppressor I’ve used in almost every respect. Ignoring what future technology might bring, this is genuinely on my short list for “if I could only have one”. Plus, the price is extremely competitive, especially for a fully Titanium suppressor.

Another rarity in life, but the SRBS 762 Ti lives up to its hype. Every word of marketing on the web page, every positive comment I’ve heard from friends who already own one, all match my experience. It’s just that good.

B&T uses the Reduced Backpressure System (RBS) and claims bolt speed is increased by less than percent. That’s hard to verify scientifically, but during use, I fully believe it. In both 5.56 and 6.5 CM, no changes were made to the gas system or buffer weight and both rifles performed as if they didn’t have a suppressor. Brass ejection didn’t move, recoil felt the same, and cycling was 100 percent. Best of all, zero gas made it to my face.

The weight speaks for itself; at only 10.5 ounces without the mount, this is a pretty light can for its size. It isn’t the absolute lightest, but it’s not far off.

Using both 5.56 NATO and 6.5 Creedmoor, the SRBS 762 ti sounds great. A deeper tone that isn’t harsh on your ears, with or without ear pro, it just sounds good. Without fancy super-sensitive testing equipment, it’s hard to say what the exact dB ratings are, but to my ear, they sound on par with what a good suppressor should be doing.

My suppressor came with a direct-thread mount I quickly replaced with an Area 419 Hellfire mount, since that’s what I use on all of my precision rifles. POI was barely affected and would return between mounting and unmounting the SRBS 762 Ti. No precision was lost when having the suppressor mounted on either rifle.

Nighttime shooting was extremely low-flash. Normally, a Ti suppressor has more flash than stainless steel — but this was lower-flash than most of my stainless steel suppressors. It was a good 200 rounds before I tried using it during low-light, so that probably helped burn off any errant Titanium.

INRANGE TV HIGH DESERT BRUTALITY 2025

The culmination of testing was InRangeTV’s High Desert Brutality 2025 match in Parma, Idaho. Mounted on a DIY AR-10 in 6.5 Creedmoor using a Faxon Firearms Gunner profile barrel and a Vortex Optics Razor Gen 3 1-10x LPVO. One specific stage really helped show off just how good the SRBS 762 Ti really is. Starting at 615 yards before moving to 3 positions shooting between 100 and 500 yards for a total of 12 targets, then moving bay-to-bay and shooting 3 more targets at 75 yards before finishing on 4 more targets at 250, 350, and 450.

InRangeTV High Desert Brutality 2-Gun match in Parma, Idaho. Targets from 250 to 450 yards

All told, 20 targets. About 30 rounds of 6.5 CM fired in about 2.5 minutes. Normally, mirage would start to be a critical concern with that kind of fire schedule and ambient temperatures of 100 degrees. However, the Titanium handled it like a champ, and almost no mirage was visible even on that last 450-yard target and dialed up to 10x on the Razor Gen 3.

Being able to handle faster strings of precision fire and not have my sight picture ruined with mirage was a major boon on the day and a major performance gain.

About 200 rounds were fired during the match, and the SRBS 762 Ti continued to perform exactly how I needed it.

Great match. Great rifle. Great suppressor.

Huge thanks to both Barnes and AmmunitionToGo.com for providing the ammo used in this review. Barnes sent out their 140gr Precision Match ammo, and AmmoToGo provided a case of 5.56 NATO 62gr Magtech. Both performed wonderfully throughout this review and during the Brutality match.

LOOSE ROUNDS

Try as I may to find something I dislike about the B&T SRBS 762 Ti, I just don’t have anything. The price is fair, the design is great, and it works like a champ.

If you’re looking for a one-and-done .30 Cal suppressor, this should be a top contender. Even on smaller calibers like 5.56 NATO and 6.5 Creedmoor, the performance was outstanding.
