On the heels of the Glock Gen. 5 trigger kit introduction, Apex announced a new flat-faced trigger setup designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson M2.0 pistol series.
The Apex Flat-Faced Forward Trigger Kit replaces the factory hinged Smith & Wesson trigger with an aluminum style setup, offering reduced pre-travel and over-travel.
The combination of Apex springs, factory sear, and trigger return springs gives M2.0 shooters the ability to set the trigger pull weight for duty or carry, even dropping it down to a competition weight if needed. In total, the setup reduces trigger pull weight by up to 2-pounds and, as a drop-in, requires no extensive gunsmithing to install. Apex even provides a handful of videos on its website to help DIY installers drop-in the trigger themselves.
The Flat-Faced trigger kit also features a center mounted pivoting safety in order to maintain factory safety values. Overall, Apex says the new setup aims to give Smith & Wesson M2.0 owners a smoother, more consistent trigger pull.
The trigger kit retails for $169 and includes the following:
