Echo-Sigma Emergency Get-Home-Bag (GHB)

In the event of an emergency, keeping a surplus of essentials at home such as food, water and medical supplies can help sustain you and your family until help arrives. However, emergencies such as natural disasters or acts of terror are unpredictable. You never know when or where you will be when one occurs. When they do erupt, it's best to be prepared. Fully prepared. The aptly named Emergency Get-Home-Bag (GHB) from Echo-Sigma can make a huge difference when the going gets nasty.

Echo-Sigma's kit includes only items that have passed its real-world tests so you know every item will work as intended. Excess packaging has been removed from every item in the GHB, and then each has been re-stowed in an optimal position, all ready to use. There are no impossible-to-open blister packs; everything is made easy to deploy. The contents are from trusted names such as Coleman, Coghlans, Nalgene, SOG and Gerber. Emergency food ration bars worth 2,400 calories and boxed water totaling 2.5 liters are compactly stored in the main compartment. This store of food and water can last a single person one day and, if resupply looks unlikely, can be rationed out over three days. The “arid” food pack does not have any storage requirements, so leaving it in the trunk of your car through heat and/or cold for up to five years will have no ill effects.

Echo-Sigma has done a fine job with the GHB. Although we hope never to need one, it's a bit of insurance that no one should be without.
