Faxon Firearms STREAMLINE Handguards

Faxon Firearms burst on the scene several years back out of nowhere. The ARAK rifle has gotten some major love and we look forward to where these guys go. They are releasing a new series of handguards that cut all the fluff. Check out what they have to say about them below.

The trend of removing the unused rails on a rifle and replacing them with KeyMod or M-LOK is a welcome change. It reduces weight and makes the rifle much nicer to hold.

Faxon Firearms, manufacturers of the ARAK platform rifle system, is pleased to announce the release and shipment to dealers of its STREAMLINE series of handguards.

True to their namesake, the new Streamline handguards are a sleek and low-profile solution for those looking for a slimmer handguard with flexible mounting. Further, the Streamline features an uninterrupted MIL-STD 1913 “Picatinny” rail across the top and 7 facets of M-LOK cuts at the 90 and 45-degree facets. Rail slots are directly engraved with “T” marks during machining to identify accessory placement anodized or if customers opt for custom coatings.

The handguards are released in four lengths, 15”, 13”, 9”, and 7”. The handguard is 100% made in the USA from extruded 6061 aluminum. The handguards are hard-coat anodized black and feature a steel barrel nut. Mounting is extremely simple with common tools and the handguard features alignment tabs to ensure it cannot rotate during extreme use.

What is the NSSF SHOT Show?

The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services.
Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea.
