FightLite Industries just announced the release of their STEP-22KT handgun, an updated version of the STEP-22K with a threaded barrel for cans or muzzle brakes or whatever you might want.

Here’s what they told us about the new pistol.

FightLite STEP-22KT

The FightLite STEP-22KT (Strategic Target Engagement Pistol, Compact-Threaded) is for shooters who want all of the features and benefits of the STEP-22K, but with the addition of a threaded muzzle to accommodate silencers, suppressors, flash hiders, muzzle brakes and other muzzle devices. Designed to readily interchange with the standard receiver on all popular RUGER Mk-I, Mk-II, Mk-III and 22/45 pistols without any tools or gunsmithing required; the STEP-22KT provides users with an incredibly lightweight and accurate pistol capable of accommodating suppressors, lights, lasers, optics, and accessories on monolithic rails that won’t shoot loose during use. Featuring a tensioned 4.5” barrel with match-cut .22LR Bentz chamber and an overall length of just 8.625”, the STEP-22KT barrel nut is threaded with an industry standard ½ x 28 TPI to fit most silencers and muzzle devices and is arguably the lightest option in the marketplace at 21.8oz when assembled on a RUGER 22/45 frame. Add an optic, suppressor and accessories of your choice to the MIL-STD 1913 “Picatinny Rails” and you’re ready for a whole new and exciting shooting adventure that you’ve never experienced before! Accurate, rugged and reliable; the FightLite STEP-22KT is guaranteed to provide you with a lifetime of shooting excellence!

FightLite is a registered trademark of ARES Defense Systems, Inc. RUGER, Mk-I, Mk-II, Mk-III and 22/45 are registered trademarks of Sturm, Ruger & Co. Accessories shown such as 22/45 grip frame and parts, optics and laser light are not included with product purchase.

This pistol retails for $379.00.
