NEW from Masterpiece Arms comes their ESR and Matrix Pro Rimfire rifles!
MPA has long been one of the top chassis and rifle makers for long range disciplines like NRL and PRS, but this is these are their first rimfire rifles.
Built using an MPA/Curtis Short Action and Curtis Rimfire Bolt, barreled with an MPA/Spencer 416R Handlapped Barrels using an MPA heavy profile, and topped off with an ATS Barrel Tuner with the entire package dropped into either the ESR or Matrix Pro chassis – these are .22 LR rifles that are designed to compete at the highest level and have a price to match.
MSRP for the ESR is $3,000, the Matrix Pro MSRP is $3,400.
The good news is that you can choose what color you want for the chassis, the twist rate of the barrel, and the barrel length. Plus, MPA rimfire rifles use Vudoo magazines.
Rifles are built to order with MPA qouting 8-9 weeks lead time.
Long range rimfire has come a long way in recent years, with NRL22/X and PRS Rimfire leading the charge for reinventing the rimfire competition world. High-quality rifles from the likes of Vudoo Gun Works, Zermatt Arms, CZ, Tikka, and more have revolutionized the technology and manufacturing behind rimfire.
More options on the market are never a bad thing, and based on MPA’s reputation, we expect these to perform exceptionally well. While the price isn’t cheap, the MSRP is comparable to options like Vudoo.
