Go Learn: American Made Man Adventure Weekend

The latest suggestion in our Go Learn Series, this seminar will be held in Santa Margarita, CA this coming September. It is described thusly:

“Spend 3 fun-filled days learning skills your father should have taught you. Camping, food and training courses all included. “

We have it on good authority it will involve a tutorial on good whiskey, good beer, good cigars, charring the flesh of things that had a parent over flame, some shooting (not concurrent with the whiskey), tomahawk throwing, poker, archery, fire starting, shelter building and many other manly things.

The weekend seminar is presented by Spartan Training Resources. They advise:

“The main focus of the weekend will be a series of training sessions for the attendees where they will learn “Manly” skills their fathers should have taught them. Training stations will be set up in different areas of the venue and attendees will rotate through each station. Attendees will be divided into ‘Tribes' at the beginning of the weekend. Each Tribe will work as a team and move through the training stations as a group. Each training session will last 3 hours and a total of 6 training sessions will be attended.”

Cost is $550; it includes all meals, all training events, camping fees and all evening activities (including booze).
