Going Short: Dead Air Releases Sandman K Silencer

It's just like your Sandman, but smaller.

Dead Air Silencers just announced the latest edition to their popular Sandman line of suppressors: the Sandman K. With an overall length of 5.4″ and adding just under 3″ to the length of a rifle, the Sandman K is currently the shortest silencer offering in their inventory. Like the Sandman L and S models, the K is multi-caliber rated and appropriate for rounds as large as .300 Win Mag. Also like the current Sandman (Sandmen?) models it sports a baffle stack constructed of 100% Stellite. Weight of the K is 12.8oz.

RECOIL is told that with a 16″ 5.56 rifle, the Sandman K meters at 149dB from the muzzle and 140dB at the ear.

Full boat MSRP is $950, but Dead Air is starting out with an introductory price of $699–until the Hearing Protection Act moves out of committee. Additionally, any Sandman K that ships prior to HPA moving from committee will have a serial number prefix of ‘HPA'.
