First Look: Anderson Manufacturing Kiger-9C Pro

Published by

NEW from Anderson Manufacturing comes the Kiger-9C Pro!

A Glock Gen 3-based design, the Kiger-9C Pro has a lightweight slide, RMR pattern optic cut, steel suppressor-height sights, a fluted barrel, and an ergonomic grip.

The Kiger-9C Pro’s slide is made from 416 stainless steel with a Diamond-Like Carbon coating. The slide is skeletonized for weight reduction via three ports on either side and one on top, all frontside. The rear sides of the slide feature serrations to optimize handling.

“The Kiger-9c Pro was developed with consumer feedback in mind. This pistol features the Kiger-9c Polymer Frame with an optimized beaver tail, aggressive texturing, undercut trigger guard and forward-underbarrel picatinny rail. The updates on the frame come in the form of enhanced controls, the Pro features an extended magazine and slide release.”

3.91” fluted barrel, also with DLC coating, a recessed crown, and chambered in 9mm with a 1:10 twist. The complete gun weighs only 1 pound unloaded. Every gun ships with one 15-round PMAG.

MSRP is $539

We got to handle the Kiger-9C Pro at SHOT Show ‘23. While we didn’t have the chance to shoot them, the pistols felt well made with smooth actions. There was nothing I wouldn’t expect from a Glock Gen 3 clone made by a reputable manufacturer, but they didn’t disappoint either.

The addition of an optics-ready slide and DLC-coated parts were great features to see, especially considering the low MSRP.

Anderson Manufacturing was founded in 1955. Recently, they are best known for their lines of AR-15 and AR-10 rifles that are American made and come with good quality at a low price.
