Lancer Systems, creator of the excellent L5AWM magazine, just announced some new stuff for AR and Sig 716 users alike. First is up the Adaptive Magwell. If you've ever used a Lancer AR lower, you'll know that they come equipped with a changeable magwell so you can determine the amount of flare you want. The Adaptive Magwell is the same idea but for most AR/M16 lowers.
It's 6061 T6 aluminum and desgined to fit mil-spec 5.56 magwells. MSRP is $99 and can be purchased here.
Next up are two new handguards for the Sig716.
The SIG 716 variant features a free float design with aluminum sight rail at 12 o'clock, and an octagon carbon fiber tube with cut-outs to expose the gas adjusting knob. Cooling slots in the tube accept rails and slots at 6 o'clock accept a rail for mounting a bi-pod. Available with top rails in carbine length, 7.4-inches, and extended length, 13.1-inches. MSRP starts at $274.99. Carbine length available here and extended length available here.
If you have used one, let us know what you think.
