If you've been keeping up with The Walking Dead on AMC, you know how important it is to have a firearm and edged weapon in a Zombie apocalypse. Thanks to LaserLyte you can now have both — a true pistol bayonet — in a not so small package.
With its 2.75” steel blade by Ka-Bar, this bad boy will let you pull off silent takedown maneuvers on the un-dead. And of course there's the grip/mount in neon green, the unofficial color of Zombie hunters worldwide. We just ask one thing, if you do decide to mount this pistol bayonet on your handgun – please remember to remove it before holstering.
Bayonets are nothing new, of course, and were used as far back as the 16th century. Early examples were in use on military rifles, such as the British Infantry Rifle of 1800–1840 (also known as the “Baker Rifle”).
That was long before the zombie hordes descended upon the land.
It's hard to find much pistol bayonet use in actual military history, but it's easy to see how affixing one to your handgun would make a gun grab by a drooling horde so much more difficult.
With the LaserLyte's serrated edge, you could also use your pistol to rip even the most leather-skinned zombies, the really obstinate ones that simply refuse to say “Die.”
The pistol bayonet affixes to most brands of full-sized handguns, so there's likely a good ghoul rig already in your arsenal.
LaserLyte Zombie Killer Edition Pistol Bayonet
So there you have it: The ultimate pistol bayonet for SHTF worst-case scenario. What do you think? Is a handgun-affixed zombie blade in your future?

Well I guess it is socially acceptable to bring a knife to a gun fight now days. I suppose a little garnishing has away of complementing the main dish.
