The new Marlin 1894C lever action is now shipping to retailers according to a press release. Marlin's 1894C rifle is chambered in .357 Magnum allowing the shooter to either use full power magnum loads or lower cost .38 Special depending on the shooter's needs.

Marlin made sure that the lever gun had a feature list that was extremely attractive to the growing segment of shooters that appreciate a good lever action rifle. Every 1894C sports a receiver, trigger guard, and lever loop that is made entirely from what Marlin describes as premium grade steel. They also include walnut furniture, a 10-shot tube magazine, a hooded front sight, and a semi-buckhorn folding ramp rear sight.

The Marlin 1894C will feature an MSRP of $788.92 with street prices likely lower than the suggested price. Learn more about the Marlin 1894C lever action on the Marlin website.

More from Marlin:

The Marlin 1894C, a classic American favorite chambered in 357Mag/38SPL is now available at retail.

Each 1894C is made from premium grade steel to create the strongest lever-gun receiver ever built.  The Model 1894C has an ultra-smooth action for rapid follow-up shots.  For rock-solid reliability, heat-treated solid-steel forgings are used for the receiver and trigger guard.  Walnut furniture, deeply blued metal, 10-shot tubular magazine and Semi-buckhorn folding (SBF) ramp with hooded front sight complete its traditional lever gun profile.

It’s light, compact, lighting fast and built to shoot as good as it looks.

The 1894C is offered at a manufacturer suggested retail price of $788.62.
