Intelligent Armour, a UK based company (yes, armor is spelled armour over there, just like defence vs. defense, et al) is now offering both human belts (the Intelligent Armour Lightweight Combat Belt) and canine belts (well, dog collar and lead). If you're the tacticool fashion conscious type this is good news. You can color coordinate when you walk your dog.
The new Intelligent Armour Lightweight Combat Belt was designed by a serving member of a UK SOF unit. It can be worn with any trousers on or off duty without worrying about the width of the belt. At 1″ wide, the Intelligent Armour Lightweight Combat Belt 1″ will fit snugly on tactical trousers or jeans and is easily adjusted. It has most recently become available in A-TACS FG Camo and built is to UK MOD (Military 0f Defence) spec. The IA Lightweight Combat Belt features a lightweight 1″ Cobra Buckle from Austrialpin, CNC machined from 7075 aluminium alloy, with solid brass and stainless internal release mechanisms.
The IA dog collar and lead is available in MC or A-TACS. It also features an Austialpin 1″ Cobra Buckle, with HK Snap Hook and is sewn of nylon bonded thread. Materials and specs of manufacture are identical to those used in IA's two-legged tactical gear building process.
Note: All AustriAlpin Cobra Buckles are tested and certified by independent /3rd party test houses and exceed Military Specification guidelines.
AustriAlpin Cobra Buckles are tested to the following standards:
• MIL-STD 810F (510.4) Blowing Dust Test Cert
• MIL-STD 810F (510.4) Blowing Sand Test Cert
• MIL-STD 810F (509.4) Salt Fog / Corrosion Resistance Test Cert
