The Lone Survivor Foundation was founded by Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell in 2010 in an effort to honor those that gave their life during Operation Redwing in 2005. Marcus and his team have spent the last 7 years focused on former servicemembers suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress and several other service-related injuries.
Given the impact that the Lone Survivor Foundation has had on the military community since its inception, I think Marcus' mission of restoring and renewing hope for wounded service members and their families has really taken root and grown into something impactful.
