MDT ACC Chassis for Competitive Shooters

The new MDT ACC Chassis might be something to consider if you are building a precision rifle geared towards PRS shooting. MDT designed the chassis to provide competitive shooters with a modular system to easily adjust the mass and balance of their rifle.

The chassis starts out at a svelte 5.9 pounds and can be configured with the weight system to a maximum of 12.3 pounds to help soak up as much recoil as possible.

The chassis is configurable to the shooters desires with M-LOK weights along the length of the forend. MDT also included Arca-Swiss rail along the entire 17-inch length of the handguard.

The stock features all of the adjustments that one would expect from a precision rifle stock. MDT also added even more weight to the chassis; the buttstock has a removable weight incorporated in it.

The MDT ACC Chassis carries an MSRP of $999 and is expected to start shipping in three to four weeks. You can learn more about the ACC Chassis on the MDT website.

More from MDT:

MDT has just released their latest chassis system for precision rifle competition called the ACC. The ACC (Adjustable Core Competition) Chassis is designed around an integrated, modular weight system which allows you to customize the balance and mass of your rifle to maximize performance and minimize recoil.

“This gives shooters complete control over balance and recoil reduction – with a little help from solid steel.” says Sales Manager, Kyle Van Ruitenburg. “Balance your rifle, reduce recoil, stay on target – with the ACC you can make your rifle as heavy as you like it.”

The MDT ACC was developed with input from Team MDT competitive shooters and other precision shooters from around the world. The result is the ACC's superior ergonomics and features as well as the fully customizable steel weight system. The weight system is integrated in the buttstock, barrel channel and forend allowing over 9 additional pounds to be added to the rifle chassis assembly.

The barrel channel weights are attached to the forend interior with screws and can be installed and adjusted with or without the barrel providing a solid foundation for recoil mitigation.

The exterior forend weights are M-Lok compatible and can be placed in 5 different positions along the ACC forend. This further reduces the effects of recoil and optimizes the balance of the rifle. These exterior weights are also compatible with other MDT chassis systems that accept M-Lok.

The ACC comes complete with a Skelton Rifle Stock and a steel butt pad plate for added weight and has a dedicated space to add even more weight to the stock if required.

The ACC Chassis features a full Arca rail the entire length of the forend and can accept a traditional pistol grip or the new MDT adjustable vertical grip.

The ACC starts at $999 (including buttstock) and is available now for pre-order online or through dealers before shipping begins in mid-October.
