Looking for a new multitool? Something worthy of Wild Wild West, if not Mission Impossible? Check out the MyTask. It's on Kickstarter now.
MyTask is an iPhone case designed but Addison Shelton and TaskLab, of Atlanta Georgia. It started with Addison’s idea of a interchangeable sliding tray built in to a phone case. He wanted something to hold different tools to add more utility to his life. From there, 10 different prototypes were built and tweaks were made, including the recent addition of an LED module. In the end they had three models: Bike, Urban, and Stash.
MyTask Bike is a set of specifically bike tools for the “serious or casual biker”. The set includes the basics:
15mm Pedal/Axle spanner
6 Allen wrenches (1/6″, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm)
2 spoke wrenches (0.127 & 0.130)
Flathead screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
Two tire irons
3 tube patches & tube roughener
4 box wrenches (5.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm)
Bottle opener
All of this fits in a sliding tray built in the back of your phone case and weighs 2.8oz.
The second model, the Urban, is more aimed towards general everyday use. This set includes 12 tools, and LED light, a mirror, and weighs 2.2oz. The tools included are:
Nail file
Scissors
Dual Eyeglass Screwdrivers
Ruler
Flathead Screwdriver
Phillips Screwdriver
