Pistol compensators have become all the rage … again. Strike Industries is now offering a new take specifically for Glocks. The SlideComp doesn’t require any permanent modification or even a threaded barrel — though at this time you do need a Gen4 Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, 31, or 32. The SlideComp attaches directly to the pistol using an insert that channels through your guide rod and is secured in place with six set screws.

We’ve seen a lot of tactical pants since Royal Robbins became 5.11 and operator beards became en vogue. The latest is the Kinetic Pant from Propper. These pants have a lot going on at a lower price point than its competitors, such as two-way stretch ripstop fabric, DWR treatment, internal dividers in the cargo pockets, and a gripper waistband. Something we especially like is the fit; it’s right on the money and doesn’t resort to glamour sizing. Currently, Propper is offering pants for both men and women in half a dozen colors.
