Propper's UC (User Configurable) Pack is just that – User Configurable. Think of it as a pack template with a number of mods you can attach or insert to modify and individualize for specific personal or user needs. The UC pack echoes the design of the Marine Corps Assault Pack built by Propper for the gyrenes. Built from 1000D Cordura, it's 20 in. high, 13 in. wide and 6.5 in. deep with a ridiculously wide array of pouches, pockets and organizers available for modularity. It's currently available in black, olive and coyote.
Note that the pack does come partially compartmentalized (you don't have to buy any of the various add-ons or modular pockets to use it), with a small zippered pocket on top for small items like sunglasses, flashlight, solar charger, etc., and a buckled and zippered divided compartment on the bottom if you need to segregate particularly important (or dirty/nasty/wet) pieces of gear. Drainage ports and cinch straps assist in separation and portage.
You can see some potential configurations in the video below.
The baseline UC Pack runs $109 online here; we have a couple UC packs in use by reviewers now and will let you know how they hold up once they report in.
