Iain Harrison is auditioning for the next Die Hard sequel. Just kidding, but he is getting his hands on one of the most iconic guns to come out of HK’s lineup and after watching this video it’s easy to understand why. The HK MP5’s design has already reached the 50-year-old milestone, but it’s hardly losing its appeal. The shortened MP5K (K for Kurz, “short” in German) seen here was first introduced in ’76 and further variations have come out of since then. Watch him break it all down with Bebe Noyes of Machine Guns Vegas and let the lead fly. It’s easy to understand why this particular gun never seems to lose its novelty. We weren’t sure if Iain really ended up burning up the barrel or not.
