Last week we covered a couple of CSASS submissions (see LWRC and Sig Sauer) from SOFIC and today we bring Remington into the fray. Just a scant six weeks ago, Remington won a coveted DEA contract with this rifle. I'm told the testing involved firing over 12,000 rounds, and after all of that, the Remington still maintained a sub-MOA shot group.
The Remington CSASS is full of features (many of them overlapping with the other offers for obvious reasons)
As with the other offerings, final configuration and specifications may change before it hits the market. When released to the public, I'm told to expect the MSRP to hover at a competitive $2,600.
In the meantime, you can visit Remington's homepage here, or given them a follow on Facebook.
Rumor has it you'll be hearing a whole lot more about this in an upcoming issue of RECOIL.
