Between the ongoing stories finding people and animals trapped in their cars and the upswing in water rescues brought on by the heavy rains and flooding we're seeing in many states this seemed apropos. This is the ResQme “car escape tool.” As you can see, it's small enough to fit on a keychain and is intended to be a small, convenient, innocuous part of your EDC (Every Day Carry). Many of us carry a knife or a tool with a carbide tip for type of application, but not everyone wants to do so (and it's not an option everywhere – like most schools – in any event).
