Artificum Solis Custom Bladeworks has continued to forge ahead (see what we did there?) since our article about 'em last year. Artificum Solis is a disabled veteran owned, staunchly pro-LEO company headquartered near Ft. Benning, GA. They are still building Everyman and Clever Girl knives, but have added some new blades to the mix — like the Ole Forester.
In fact, here's a picture of Ole Forester in an old forest (as described by A-SOL in Chief Austin McGlaun).
All images from Artificum Solis Custom Bladeworks social media outlets.
This is a V2 Dirty Girl, 1095 steel with a skeleton handle.
This is their Damascus Hunter.
They're forging more than fixed blades nowadays — they're building hammers and axes too.
Here are a few more shots. Make sure you follow them on Facebook. They frequently run impromptu specials, host raffles and provide discount codes. You can do that at https://www.facebook.com/ArtificumSolis. They also have a Facebook group (the A-SOL Nation) here. I'll take this opportunity to give a nod to 3/187 Infantry, whence McGlaun hails.
