It was nearly two decades ago when SureFire released their first Turbo-series of lights. Seeing as how it was the early aughts', they were large, battery-eating incandescent beasts. And they were also bright and tough. Now in 2022 SureFire is re-launching the line with a half dozen initial offerings. The X300U and X400U WMLs are receiving the Turbo treatment, as well as the Scoutlight Pro, Mini Scoutlight Pro, EDC1, and EDC2.
Importantly, the pistol lights are dimensionally identical and are compatible with existing holsters for the X300/X400U.
The pistol WMLs are 51,000 candela and the Turbo Scoutlights are 71,000–the Turbo Mini Scoutlight has a shorter battery life (~45 mins) due to the smaller 18350 native battery.
