While many old-school guns only sit in glass cases or are mounted above a fireplace, many have chosen to get their faves permanently inked on their skin. This month’s column brings you two vintage-inspired offerings we thought you’d find interesting. Keep those submissions rolling in.
Rifle
Artist: Blanco
Hart and Huntington
Las Vegas, NV
Jeff Schnegelberger: I got this done at Hart and Huntington in Las Vegas. The artist was Blanco, and he did a great job. I served 20 years in the Air National Guard, and this represents that service.
Pistol
Artist: Darlin Russell
Lil Darlin’s Tattoos
Logan, UT
Kaden Roholt: My gun tat is of a flintlock pistol. I’ve been buying and upgrading guns for a few years, and it’s now one of my biggest hobbies. I wanted to get something that I could show off as a gun collector’s piece, and I really liked the old-school design of the flintlock pistol.
Got a gun tattoo you’d like to share? Please send some well-lit, high resolution photos to recoil@enthusiastnetwork.com, along with your name, the tattoo artist’s name, the studio name and city in which it was done, and 50-70 words on what the tattoo is of and why you got it. By sending in submissions, you grant TEN: Publishing Media the unrestricted, transferable and sub-licensable, irrevocable, royalty-free, world-wide, and perpetual license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, make derivative works of, and otherwise use the Submissions in any media whatsoever now known or later invented throughout the world for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or not.
