There is something to be said for a slimmed down easy to handle knife that offers a strong grip option. Thankfully Millit Knives is reviving an old Hawk Knives design, albeit interpreted in their own way. We recently received a notification with further details.

Slim Line and Pony Knives Return

To give a brief history, we are a father and son team. Hawk Knives have been making knives since 1995 in Idaho City, Idaho, an old gold mining camp of the mid 1800's. We started off making fixed blade knives for a small local market of hunters and horsemen. When we began doing knife shows we became interested in the different innovative styles being developed in the knife industry and decided to focus more on how we could contribute. From that point forward, we have been developing a series of designs for both folders and fixed blades that reflects our best efforts at contributing to the body of innovative knife designs. The Pony Knife is one of the first knives that we designed and made about 15 years ago, and we are so happy that it is being made again by Millit Knives.

Millit Knives is dedicated to designing, creating, and manufacturing high quality, American made knives. Their slogan… Simply, doing it right.
