SOLKOA is advising their new survival tool will do “more field-expedient improvisation…than any other multi-tool on the market.”
These are the Grip-S adaptive handles (version 2, apparently) were originally designed for military aviators, for “escape and evasion” purposes. According to SOLKOA the Grip-S can hold standard flexible wire saws, any universal shank saw blade and any round or hexagonal tool up to a quarter inch in diameter. Accessories are simply attached to the Grip-S handles using the supplied set screws; it is machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum and comes in four anodized colors.
The Grip-S ships with a wire saw and Phillips/slotted screw driver bit. You can then use niversal shank saw blades, ¼ inch hex bits, metal files, drill bits or awls to expand its uses or fulfill a specific need. The kit includes a metal connector to join the grips for longer length or position them at a 90-degree angle for additional handling torque if necessary. MSRP is $49,95
