Sons of Liberty Gun Works announced a brand new wedge lock M-LOK rail this SHOT Show. While quality new parts are always exciting, we were most interested about SOLGW announcing 0% financing for officers as long as the SOLGW rifles are on the approved rifle list.
Before we get into the new stuff, feast your eyes on this sweeeet paint job!
SOLGW has a long-standing commitment to ensuring professional users have the best possible equipment when on the job. They are so passionate about it that during the early days of their existence SOLGW offered a service that allowed officers to send their rifles in so they could be inspected and any potential issues fixed.
The purpose of the new 0% financing program is to offer an option for cash strapped officers a quality duty rifle that they can afford. The program has very few requirements, the most important being that the agency the officer is employed by listing SOLGW rifles on their approved list. If an officer should select the financing option, SOLGW says they will build and ship the rifle right away so that the officer won't have to go without life-saving equipment.
Here are some of the highlights of the 0% program from their website:
1. Great discounts of up front purchase of rifles, optics, and complete packages.
2. The option for 4 month, 0% financing, with No credit check for officers.
3. The ability for larger departments to tailor the program through custom approved packages for their officers.
4. The ease for officers who are not firearms enthusiasts to find a complete package in their price level, ready to go with rifle, optic, sling and light.
5. Opens up possibilities for long term testing of our products in preparation for agency wide deployment.
6. Private Security firms that issue rifles in the course of their duties are also eligible for Duty Approved.
7. All rifles purchased through Duty Approved fall under our Duty Use Replacement Program.
Currently, Agencies in Bexar and surrounding counties fall under another existing program and will approved or added to that program.
SOLGW also launched their new M76 wedge lock handguard in 8-inch, 9.5-inch, 10.5-inch, 13-inch, 15-inch, and 16.75-inch lengths.
The M76 is M-LOK compatible and features attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
SOLGW includes one of their well made QD attachment point made from 4140 steel. Since the M76 doesn't have a QD point built in, SOLGW felt it a more preferable option to allow the end user to place the sling point wherever they like.
The barrel nut is also 4140 steel.
The proven Wedge Lock system is used to keep the handguard on the rifle.
The SOLGW M76 handguard starts at $259 for the 8-inch version and goes up to $289 for the 16.75-inch handguard. Learn more on the SOLGW website.
