Spikes Tactical – Pipe Hitters Union Collab

Spike's Tactical has teamed up with the Pipe Hitter's Union to release a series of new rifles. As you can see from the picture above, they are — perhaps quite predictably — sick. Here's a look at another one.

Spikes Tactical – Pipe Hitters Union Collab

There are three weapons in the series: one full length, one SBR, and one AR15 pistol. The standard rifle is a 16 in. hammer forged barrel with an R2 brake and a 13.2 in. M-LOK rail; the bolt carrier group is Nickel Boron, riding in a MilSpec upper receiver and a PHU (Pipe Hitters Union) lower receiver.

Shooters will do social work, should the need arise, but pulling a CMC 2 stage trigger, after first engaging a Battle Arms Development-Ambidextrous Safety Selector (BAD-ASS) safety. The weapon features KNS anti-rotation pins, billet trigger guard, QD latch plate, MFT grip and a BCM Mod 4 charging handle. Sights are Spike's new BUIS and the stock is a Minimalist from MFT. All are in 5.56mm.

This joint project has been in the works for a while now, and although we were not able to attend the “release-reveal” party at Special Operations Equipment a couple nights ago, we are glad we can finally talk about them.

Additional details are scarce at this time. We know they'll be arriving at Spike's distributors soon, but we're not sure of MSRP or additional specifics.

Yeah, not much to that, but we'll advise further when possible. As we understand it, Law from PHU and Mookie from Spike's were palavering today about the collab, so maybe we'll have more information soon.
