Surefire is releasing a new series of informational videos containing some advice and insight on the subject of low- and no-light fighting from a number of different SMEs in the tactical/firearms world. Each one will focus on techniques or procedures (we would hesitate to call them TTPs, per se) from a particular instructor's perspective — which means we might see some overlap or even inconsistencies at times, which is a Good Thing as we see it. After all, if you're only hearing one way to do things, you're setting yourself up to be inbred.
Interestingly, none of the videos from the Field Notes series are sales pitches. We've yet to see one where they push one of their lights. These actually do seem to be straight information pieces.
Here's the first one, featuring Travis Haley from Haley Strategic Partners. Pay attention to the various Surefire outlets– this is just one of what looks to be a great series, with a information presented by a number of squared away dudes.
