SureFire Peacekeeper Duty Light

Earlier this month SureFire released their new duty light for patrol cops- the P1R Peacekeeper. This compact light is rechargeable and is described as “Best in class” by SureFire. Some beneficial features include a high-output LED that is regulated to maximize output and runtime, tailcap switch, tempered and coated window that resists impact and maximizes output, O-ring and gasket sealed for weatherproofness, constructed of aerospace aluminum with MilSpec anodizing for increased durability, comes with lithium-ion rechargeable battery in addition to AC and DC charger, and of course the product is backed by SureFire’s “No Hassle Promise.”

The Peacekeeper has 2 output modes- 600 lumens on high and 15 lumens of extended runtime on low. The light weighs roughly 6 ounces and has a length just over 5 inches. In addition to being lightweight and durable, SureFire also says it fits most standard flashlight holsters.

There are 2 models of the Peacekeeper- the P1R Peacekeeper (the one described above) and the Peacekeeper Tactical. The Peacekeeper Tactical is different in that is has just one output and you can click once for momentary use or twist for constant use.

Both models of the Peacekeeper light have an MSRP of $250 and come standard with the lithium-ion rechargeable battery, AC charger, and DC charger. You can find them at any authorized SureFire dealer or on the SureFire website, which offers 10% off your first purchase when signing up for SureFire emails.
