Lipsey's has answered the prayers of Glock collectors, the Glock 17M is no longer only for department purchases. Now anyone can add one of the unobtainable Glocks to their collection if you're into that sort of thing.
While the Glock 17M is dang near the same as the Gen 5 Glock 17 that has been on the shelf, there are some slight differences beyond the roll mark but nothing earth-shattering.

Glock Talk user littletank posted photos of the Glock 17M he purchased, and it appears that the Lipsey's 17M is correct with nDLC coated internals. The pistols will also feature the FBI spec mag release also used on the 19X, the extended mag release found on the Glock 34 Gen 5, and Ameriglo Agent night sights.

If you want to scoop one up of your own, MSRP runs $753. We did find street prices around $630, the same price as the standard Glock 17 Gen5 with Ameriglo sights.

Those internals are not nDLC. The serial number on nDLC parts is 33588 and are jet black, not grey as shown in the picture.
