CTK Precision has a some new thingamawhatsits for those of you who enjoy precision rifle shooting, or are dialing in a precision rifle platform based on the Ruger Precision Rifle series. Among the new accessories: the CTK Precision Stock Bumper, Bolt Knob, and Mag Release Extension. Here's a quick rundown for you.
1. Ruger Precision Rifle Stock Bumper. The RPS Rifle Stock Bumper prevents a folding stock from making contact with the action's left side while it's in the folded position. This should eliminate noise and, for those who are finicky, reduce any dings or scratches on the finish. It's built from CNC aircraft 6061 aluminum, is Type III hard coat anodized, weighs 4 oz. and is made in the United States. To install, you simply remove the (factory) pull adjustment knob and replace it with the CTKP RPR stock bumper. Ba-bing, ba-bang, you're in business. MSRP is $19.00. This is an ITAR restricted product.
2. Ruger Precision Rifle Magazine Release Extension. CTK's ambi Mag Release Extension is intended to make it so a shooter can manipulate the magazine release without altering grip; it does this by placing the magazine release within reach of an extended trigger finger, leaving the support side hand free to remove and replace the mag. This too is CNC built from 6061 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. It installs with a single screw, weighs 3 oz., and is manufactured in the USA. MSRP is $37.00; it too is an ITAR restricted product.
3. CTK Ruger Precision Bolt Knob. This a simple accessory designed to offer an improved, repeatable grip, thus allowing a shooter to cycle the bolt quickly, precisely, and comfortably. The bolt knob is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum; the knob extension is CNC machined from steel. The former is Type III hardcoat anodized; the latter has a Parkerized finish so as to provide a smooth interface with the factory's bolt knob mounting point. This is an ITAR restricted product. MSRP is $46.00.
