TNVC has shared a few things they'll be showing at SHOT Show 2017. A new helmet liner, a helmet mounted counterweight and accessory platform, and a new set of dual-tube NODS will all be on display at booth #6502.
Here's how they describe the 3 different pieces of new TNVC goodness in their own words.
1. The Zero G Deluxe Helmet Liner
2. TNVC Mohawk Helmet Accessory System
3. TNV/DTNVG Dual Tube Night Vision Goggle
Offers the absolute most comfortable pad system for any helmet that incorporates Velcro pads. Meets or exceeds US Military impact/ballistic specifications, heat/moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, flame retardant, Berry Amendment Compliant. Completely envelopes the wearer’s head – eliminating uncomfortable hot-spots. These are the best pads you’re not currently using!
MSRP $110
2. TNVC Mohawk Helmet Accessory System
A full spectrum counterweight/storage system for helmets. Provides much-needed modularity, storage, and retention for mission essential gear. This includes Strobes, Batteries, Weights, Battery Boxes, tourniquet, pistol mag, etc. Options are only limited by the operator’s imagination. Also features much-needed cable management. Available in standard and ANVIS configurations. MSRP $59.99. If you don’t run an NVG with a remote battery box, check out the Mohawk Mk1, also $59.99.
3. TNV/DTNVG Dual Tube Night Vision Goggle
The lightest, commercially-available MILSPEC NVG. The TNV/DTNVG features independently-pivoting optic pods for low-profile stowage on the helmet. Each optic pod will independently shut off when pivoted up – eliminating light backsplash on the helmet. Built with L-3 green or white image tubes that meet TNVC’s legendary, industry-leading specs. MSRP $8,730 – $9,900.
This has been a special SHOT Show installment of Industry News. It is not a review nor an endorsement.
The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services.
Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea. If you'd like to see a sampling of the companies who will be showing at this year's SHOT, there's a live map right here, though it doesn't reflect the organizations set up elsewhere, in hotel suites, etc
